Please take a few minutes to check your matches and familiarise yourself with the schedule. Note the date and time of your match.
Please arrive promptly, bring your own balls and allow for some flexibility as prior matches can overrun.
There is very little room for changing the schedule: should you be unable to play on the allocated time please contact Alex ( alexheathtennis@gmail.com / 07554 007870) AND graham@silvester.co.uk / 07712 761106) whose decision on the timetable is final.
The Championships depend on the cooperation and flexibility of all players. Thank you in advance for helping matches progress smoothly throughout the tournament.
New for 2026: The One Point Slam
On the middle Saturday of the Championships (June 20th), we’re introducing something a little different.
The One Point Slam is exactly what it sounds like: every match is decided by a single point. Fast. Unpredictable. Slightly chaotic.
Whether you’re still in the main draw or already enjoying life on the sidelines, we’d love to see as many members as possible involved. It starts at 1pm. Entry fee £5 on the day.

PS: don’t forget to state your walk-on music.
Volunteers Needed
Running a two-week tournament takes more than just players. We’re looking for volunteers to help with a range of activities throughout the Championships, including:
Even an hour or two can make a real difference.
If you’d like to help, please contact Alex ( alexheathtennis@gmail.com ).
Calling All Sports Correspondents
One of the best things about the Championships is the stories that emerge over the fortnight. We’re looking for volunteers to produce daily tournament reports for members.
There are no rules on style. Match report, newspaper column, gossip page, statistical analysis, satire, player interviews, photo diary—anything goes.
If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a sports writer, this is your opportunity.
Please contact James Ireson ( jeireson@sky.com / 07950 223449) to pick up your press pass.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the club over the next two weeks and wish all competitors the very best of luck.
*In 1924 Mrs D. S. Stobbs won the women’s singles and E.B Harvey won the men's singles.
