Club Championships: Day 4 results & Wednesday Order of Play

Sabotage! The results board had been wiped clean before play started - what’s a guest correspondent to do? Alex came to the rescue – calm and collected. And so the games began.

Some cracking tennis all round with many emphatic wins. A family theme was on display: the Malyon brothers won the deciding tie break to ensure a win for the family parings. The Merediths gave it their all but the result did not go their way. And the father and son Coletto team were the fans’ favourite – if only the match could have been decided on the first point!

Finally, if the tennis was not enough, there was plenty of effort & concentration at the fine wine tasting. Tennis and red wine – by far the best pairing of the evening.
