OC Clubhouse '26 Fundraising udpate

Ahead of Finals Day, we would like to share an update on the OC Clubhouse '26 fundraising.

So far, spurred on by the Championship activity, we have raised approximately £32K (including gift aid). This is 13% of our target. We have seen that when we are all together watching / playing tennis, the total rises, ideas come to mind, and we make progress towards our shared goal. So, today should be a good day.

Key contributors so far:

Ajay Khandelwal - still the individual to beat: £2,024 from his half marathon!
Roman Gonitel's wine (Cellar sessions, auctions, and behind the bar) with £627 raised (and counting).
The team-sponsored Championship evening food raised £1,123 with top marks going to the Ladies 3 team's curry evening for raising £422.

Other intitiatives:

The American Doubles and One Point Slam were great successes and there are more tournaments to come over the summer, run by members, based on their own ideas.

We have the first OCLTC holiday planned in October, with our own Alex Heath leading the coaching in Turkiye. Speak to Adam Burgis for more information.

And we'll be launching the OC Club '26 merchandise in the coming days. Some of our 'influencers' already have their hands on early release t shirts and caps. More information to follow.

Finally, a special thank you to the individuals who have come forward and made substantial donations and loans. This makes a significant difference and takes us forward in leaps and bounds towards the target.
