Dear all,
The middle weekend of any tournament is full of drama and Old College is no exception. This weekend is going to be a scorcher in every sense.
On Saturday we’ll whittle down the men’s and women’s singles last 16 to identify the Quarter Finalists ahead of our own Super Sunday. The top seeds are getting into position but there are some potential upsets looming, and some close encounters to attract the crowds. Jovic / Speer could deliver the fireworks and Pearson / Hladick a fascinating contrast of styles.
Saturday PM sees some 50+ matchplay, and an intriguing ladies match up with every match featuring a seed vs non-seed.
And Sunday? Super Sunday! Quarter finals in both the men’s and women’s open singles draws. The BBQ will be firing from 2.30pm, and will be manned by the hubbies of ladies teams 5 & 6
