Courtside Cellar Session – Tuesday 16 June, 7.15pm

Dear Members,
As part of the Club Championships, Roman Gonitel will be hosting a short Courtside Cellar Session on Tuesday and Thursday evening. This is one for our wine lovers - an opportunity to drink premium and rare wines from Roman's private collection.
Time:
7.15pm (aiming to start during the changeover between matches)
Cost:
£20 on the door
Tuesday Featured Wine: Uncondemned Ourém Red 2017
The first release from a centennial vineyard project north of Lisbon, produced from 120–150 year-old vines and an unusual blend of red and white grapes.
Thursday Featured Wine: COZs VO Vital 2021
A rare single-vineyard Vital from limestone slopes north of Lisbon, created by one of Portugal's organic wine pioneers and a new generation winemaker restoring abandoned vineyards.
For this session, Roman will be opening bottles he has held back over the years and which are no longer commercially available. These are small-production wines from some of Portugal's most interesting producers and vineyards.

At the end of the tasting, there will be an opportunity to bid for the featured bottle in a fundraising auction, with all proceeds going directly to the Clubhouse Fund.
